Job summary

CSL (Global Seqirus legal team) in Maidenhead, United Kingdom, seeks a Legal Counsel, EMEA to lead contracting and provide strategic legal guidance across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Qualifications

• Bachelor of Laws, J.D., Master’s or equivalent foreign degree.
• Bar admission in the UK or in an EU country.
• 2–4 years’ experience in a similar legal role, law firm or in-house.
• Fluent in English and at least one other language (German, French, Spanish or Italian).
• Strong communication, business acumen and ability to work autonomously and cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Act as legal lead support for preparing, negotiating, and finalizing standard form contracting for the EMEA region.
• Support enterprise initiatives such as template generation, process optimization, and contracting innovation.
• Provide general legal advice to commercial, Medical Affairs, Regulatory and Procurement clients, focusing on the Liverpool manufacturing facility.
• Advise on employment law matters and support subsidiary management activities alongside corporate governance teams.
• Collaborate with Seqirus Compliance Team to advance compliance initiatives and manage third-party disputes.
