Job summary

Accord Healthcare seeks a Legal Counsel & DPO to oversee data privacy and compliance for the EMENA region. The role involves leading GDPR matters, drafting and negotiating complex agreements, and acting as the primary Data Privacy Officer for the organisation.

The successful candidate will manage SAR requests, data breach responses, and regulatory interactions while supporting diverse corporate and commercial legal issues across Europe. Frequent travel to EU sites is anticipated.

Qualifications

• Degree in Law required.
• Proven years of experience as a lawyer.
• Substantial experience in GDPR matters and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements (license, supply, manufacturing, and services).
• Manage third-party disputes and serve as Data Privacy Officer (DPO).
• Lead Processing Activities Register, conduct training, handle Subject Access Requests (SAR), and oversee data breach responses.
