We are looking for an experienced and commercially focused Legal Counsel & Data Protection Officer to provide strategic legal, regulatory, data protection and compliance support across the business.
This is a broad and influential role, combining legal expertise with strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to risk management. As the company’s designated Data Protection Officer (DPO), you will take ownership of the organisation’s data protection governance framework, ensuring we maintain high standards of compliance and best practice.
Working closely with senior leadership teams across the business, you will provide pragmatic, solutions-focused advice on a wide range of legal and regulatory matters. You will play a key role in identifying and managing risk, supporting business growth and ensuring the organisation remains compliant with evolving UK and international legislation.
The role also has a strong leadership and development focus, with responsibility for mentoring and supporting team members and helping to build capability across the function.
