Legal Counsel - Crypto Market Maker

London

6 month contract with view to Permanent

One of the top 10 Market Making crypto companies, with global offices, is seeking to hire a solicitor into the legal team in London. The business has been growing rapidly in recent years and through acquisition has a range of different offerings beyond crypto, including liquidity and OTC trades.

The role of Legal Counsel will initially be for 6 months, but may be made permanent afterwards. It will initially focus on a broad range of corporate and commercial work which includes joint venture arrangements, general commercial contracts and company matters such as shareholder agreements. You might touch on some regulatory work and there will be the odd NDA in there, but the work is varied and extremely thought provoking. Moreover, the role sits within one of the most fast moving and dynamic industries there is.

Candidate Requirements:

This role is open to anyone who has the following:

• Qualified solicitor in the UK
• Experience of corporate / commercial work and is pleased to roll up their sleeves and review and draft a variety of contracts
• An interest or partial knowledge of the crypto world. You do not have to be an expert but if you have an interest in NFTs or other cryptocurrencies, then this would suit you
• The most important requirement is you and your drive. This is not a sleepy 9-5 role, but offers cutting edge legal advice on a range of new issues facing the company every day
