Legal Counsel - Global Consultancy - London

Leading global consultancy seeks a Legal Counsel to join their highly skilled in-house legal team in London.

This role offers the opportunity to be part of a supportive and dynamic team, supporting all levels of the business across service lines and internal functions. The responsibilities include engaging in contracting on both client and supplier sides, as well as providing substantive legal advice. There is also potential to lead firm-wide projects from a legal perspective.

The role involves a broad range of project work, including software development, systems integration, and business transformation, as well as drafting and negotiating various client contracts such as engagement agreements, MSAs, and GFAs. The scope also covers agreements related to tech, software, licensing, outsourcing, government, and public sector contracts, tenders, RFP responses, and supplier agreements.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of PQE and proven experience as a commercial lawyer, preferably from a top-tier City law firm or in-house legal team. Demonstrable experience in negotiating, drafting, and advising on a variety of commercial contracts within a professional services environment or similar is essential.

This position is suitable for a self-starter with gravitas, business acumen, and a calm, proactive attitude. The successful candidate will be versatile, efficient, credible, persuasive, and capable of prioritizing and adapting in a fast-paced environment.
