Job description

Danos have been mandated on an interim Senior Legal Counsel opportunity to join a global market maker and liquidity provider, operating in the crypto space. The role will serve as maternity cover for 6-9 months and report into the US Managing Director - Legal.

The role can be based in either London or NY.

Responsibilities
  • US Regulatory knowledge and SEC experience is essential, particularly around Regulation D.
  • Strong knowledge surrounding private placements would be advantageous.
  • Leading on high-stakes, multi jurisdictional transactions.
  • Providing strategic legal advice on complex transaction structures under US Securities laws.
  • Advising the wider business on relevant SEC updates, reforms and upcoming regulations.
  • Taking preemptive measures to avoid legal risks and conflicts.
Qualifications
  • J.D. qualification would be preferred, albeit not essential.
  • 7+ PQE.
  • Candidates coming from a fintech/payments background is preferred.
