Job Title: Legal Counsel – Marketing - 3-month FTC

Location: Uxbridge (Hybrid)

A leading global brand in the consumer goods sector is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel (5+ years PQE) to join its dynamic EMEA legal team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, international environment supporting commercial, marketing, and sponsorship operations across the region.

The Opportunity

You will play a pivotal role in providing commercially focused legal advice, drafting and negotiating high-value marketing, sponsorship, and service agreements, and partnering closely with cross-functional teams to support brand and business strategy. You'll be joining a collaborative legal team that values precision, agility, and a proactive mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts including sponsorship, partnership, SaaS, consulting, IP licence, and master services agreements.
• Providing clear, business-oriented legal advice to marketing and commercial teams across the EMEA region.
• Supporting complex commercial projects and advising on brand and consumer promotions.
• Managing external counsel relationships where needed.
• Developing and maintaining contract templates and delivering internal legal training.
• Contributing to wider legal team projects and initiatives in a flat, non-hierarchical team structure.

About You

• UK qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience, ideally gained in both private practice and in-house settings.
• Proven track record in commercial law, particularly in drafting and negotiating marketing or sponsorship agreements.
• Strong commercial awareness and excellent attention to detail.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Effective communicator with a collaborative approach and the ability to build strong internal relationships.
• Energetic, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
