Job Title: Legal Counsel – Marketing - 3-month FTC

Location: Uxbridge (Hybrid)

A leading global brand in the consumer goods sector seeks an experienced Legal Counsel (5+ years PQE) to join its dynamic EMEA legal team. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, international environment supporting commercial, marketing, and sponsorship operations across the region.

The Opportunity

You will provide commercially focused legal advice, draft and negotiate high-value marketing, sponsorship, and service agreements, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support brand and business strategies. The team values precision, agility, and a proactive approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts including sponsorship, partnership, SaaS, consulting, IP license, and master services agreements.
• Offer clear, business-oriented legal advice to marketing and commercial teams across the EMEA region.
• Support complex commercial projects and advise on brand and consumer promotions.
• Manage external counsel relationships as needed.
• Develop and maintain contract templates and deliver internal legal training.
• Participate in wider legal team projects and initiatives within a flat, non-hierarchical structure.

About You

• UK qualified solicitor with at least 5 years’ post-qualification experience, ideally with backgrounds in private practice and in-house roles.
• Proven experience in commercial law, especially in drafting and negotiating marketing or sponsorship agreements.
• Strong commercial awareness and meticulous attention to detail.
• Highly organized with excellent project management skills.
• Effective communicator with a collaborative style and ability to build internal relationships.
• Energetic, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
