Job Opportunity: Legal Counsel in Insurance Broking

Join a global Insurance Broking business as a Legal Counsel within their growing Corporate & Commercial legal team. This role offers the chance to work on innovative legal projects in the insurance industry, reporting to an experienced Senior Legal Counsel.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Drafting various commercial agreements, including Insurance and Non-Insurance contracts.
  2. Contributing to key business integration projects.
  3. Supporting Corporate Governance and restructuring initiatives.
  4. Collaborating with legal and business stakeholders.
  5. Preparing corporate documents and working with the Company Secretariat on governance matters.

Ideal candidates will have:

  1. Experience as a Corporate and/or Commercial lawyer in In-House or Private Practice, with 1+ years PQE.
  2. Some experience with Insurance is preferred but not essential; regulated Financial Services experience is required.
  3. Strong knowledge of The Companies Act 2006.
  4. Excellent commercial awareness and decision-making skills.
  5. Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, capable of working with peers and senior management.
