Job description

Our client is looking for a Company Commercial Lawyer / Legal Counsel to join their busy in-house legal department.

This position offers a great opportunity to progress and develop your career.

Location

Based in Woking. The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience in drafting and negotiating a wide range of customer contracts and agreements, including customer terms and conditions, procurement contracts, tenders, marketing, agency, distribution, IT, and IP agreements.
• Assist the department with various legal matters such as data protection, technology, and minor litigation and disputes.
• Be a qualified solicitor with solid training and post-qualification experience at a reputable law firm.
• Have between 2 to 6 years PQE.
• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commercial/business outlook.

Candidate Qualities

The successful candidate should demonstrate strong communication skills, good business acumen, and a commercial mindset. They should be hungry, ambitious, and eager to advance their career.

Working Arrangements

The company offers hybrid working, with an expectation of being in the office 2 to 3 days a week.

Additional Information

While the client prefers candidates with 2-6 years PQE, they are open to considering applicants outside this range who possess relevant experience.
