A large water and wastewater company in the UK is hiring a Legal Counsel for a 2-year fixed-term contract. This hybrid role involves providing legal advice, managing external law firms, and ensuring DCO applications are robust. The ideal candidate will have at least 4–5 years of PQE in planning law, with a competitive salary of £70,000–£80,000 depending on experience, and excellent benefits including 26 days' leave and a contributory pension.
Our Strategic Resource Operations (SRO) team is hiring a Legal Counsel on a 2-year fixed-term contract. The team is responsible for developing major infrastructure projects to improve resilience to drought, minimise interruptions to water supplies in the south-east, and protect the environment. Projects include a new reservoir and a water recycling scheme to be delivered by Development Consent Orders (DCO).
This is a hybrid role with a base location of Reading or London. Some travel in and around London will be required.
£70,000–£80,000 per annum.
