The Role

The business currently seeking a Legal Counsel to support business operations across the United Kingdom and Europe. This is a key role in a dynamic environment, ideal for a proactive legal professional with a strong understanding of UK investment fund regulations.

Your Responsibilities

You will play a critical role in guiding the organisation through the complex legal and regulatory landscape of the investment fund industry, as well as provide expert advice on the formation and management of investment vehicles, including UCITS, AIFs, and other collective investment schemes. You will also ensure compliance with UK regulations, particularly those set by the FCA) while advising on fund structuring, distribution strategies, and platform agreements.

In addition, you'll lead negotiations on commercial contracts with external vendors, manage legal relationships with outside counsel, and stay ahead of regulatory developments through ongoing legal research. Internally, you'll help shape and implement compliance frameworks, develop policy documents, and deliver training to ensure cross-team alignment on legal and regulatory issues. Your contribution will directly support the organisation's ability to manage risk, maintain compliance, and operate efficiently in a rapidly evolving financial environment.

Requirements

• 4+PQE UK Qual
• Knowledge of UCITS, AIFMD, and UK Funds law.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
