  • Update Curve’s terms of service, with regards to new products, services and regulations.
  • Advise business owners and executives of legal risks and mitigations in relation to a variety of topics (including data protection, strategic partnerships and consumer credit) by taking ownership of matters and finding effective solutions to complex business activities.
  • Work effectively in a collaborative environment and across different departments. Have the ability to pivot quickly between matters and adapt to changing environments.
  • Analyse changes to regulatory requirements and proactively handle regulatory developments.
Requirements
  • Fully qualified lawyer, with strong academics and training with a top law firm.
  • Experience of advising on payments, electronic money and credit regulations. Experience interpreting scheme rules and the FCA Handbook would be a bonus.
  • Demonstrable experience of owning projects, being resourceful and having the ability to think on your feet.
  • High degree of independence, initiative and decisiveness.
  • Your written and verbal communication skills are top-notch, including the ability to succinctly summarise and interpret legal jargon and implications.
  • Experience of working in a fast growth tech company would be a bonus!
