Legal Counsel (Fixed Term Contract)

Location: Larbert

Your dream role:

  • We need a legal guru to join us, working closely with our Group Legal Counsel to provide legal advice across all commercial, corporate, and compliance activities
  • This is a maternity leave cover and will run for 12 months but we can be flexible on this
  • Opportunities like this don’t come along often – you will have exposure to a wide range of senior stakeholders and complex projects globally. If you haven’t worked in-house before then this could be a great first move in-house
  • We are a fast-paced business with priorities shifting all the time. Questions from all parts of the business will come your way, from Procurement to Finance right through to Human Resources – you will get to deal with lots of our amazing team worldwide

What you will bring:

  • You will be a Qualified Solicitor, preferably in Scots Law but other jurisdictions will be considered. Ideally, you’ll have at least 4 years PQE but we’re flexible on this
  • Available to start around June 2025
  • Experience in a similar in-house role, or with a large commercial firm
  • Be able to provide top quality legal advice in plain English so we can make sound business decisions
  • Relationship building will come easily to you – across all levels of seniority and all areas of the business
  • Excellent oral and written skills with the ability to write high quality legal documents which will be easily understood across the wider business
