We are currently working with a fast-expanding legal firm based in Rochdale, specialising in Commercial Law, focusing on Business-to-Business within the Legal Industry. They are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and motivated Legal Coordinator to join their team.

The role is fully office-based with excellent progression prospects. It offers an opportunity to work in a varied role and become a key team member, involving aspects of finance, HR, marketing, procurement, and general administration.

What you can expect:

  • Salary £27-28.5k plus two annual bonus opportunities
  • Finish at 4 pm on Fridays

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle calls and greet visitors professionally and courteously
  • Manage diaries, book and reschedule meetings and events, arrange travel and accommodations
  • Maintain an efficient and secure office environment
  • Order office supplies and goods
  • Assist with projects as directed by directors
  • Support onboarding and contract management
  • Prepare engagement letters and client care information
  • Assist with client due diligence and KYC checks
  • Track and renew retainer or subscription services
  • Triaging legal advice requests
  • Support legal team with scheduling, correspondence, and file management
  • Close case files following company procedures
  • Liaise with legal cashiers regarding office and client ledgers
  • Issue invoices, statements, and overdue payment reminders
  • Procure new services or negotiate better deals
  • Ensure office supplies are stocked and generate orders when needed
  • Support events and business development activities
  • Assist with marketing campaigns and onboarding new recruits

Profile:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar office or administrative environment; legal or professional services experience is a plus
  • Strong academic background; relevant degree in Legal or Business Studies is advantageous
  • Good communication and IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
