We are currently seeking lawyers with 2-8 years’ top-tier post-qualification experience in funds and asset management, especially in fund formation, fund distribution, and general asset management activities.

Examples of recent opportunities include:

• Supporting the Alternatives business of an asset management firm, including establishing and maintaining alternative funds, reviewing and negotiating fund documents, and providing legal support on regulatory or strategic initiatives.
• Supporting fund formation with product delivery and management for a global alternative products team within an investment bank, with experience in Luxembourg funds preferred.
• Working for the asset management arm of a bank, supporting portfolio management, feeder funds, UCITS work, ESG, and alternative/unregulated funds.
• Supporting the UK legal team of a leading global investment manager with negotiations, fund formation, restructuring, and other legal tasks.
• Focusing on the regulated UCITS platform at an FCA-regulated financial services firm, providing web-based portfolio management and outsourced services.

Our criteria

• Minimum of two years' post-qualification experience at a top-tier law firm for funds or asset management.
• Preferably recent in-house legal experience at a financial institution, fund, or asset manager.
• Proactive in career development and networking.
• Understanding of legal consulting vs. permanent roles.
