Legal Compliance Manager - Media sector
3 days a week in the London office
Audit & Risk Recruitment have been engaged by a well-known, household name media company to recruit for a Legal Compliance Manager, which will be part of their established and respected Risk Management function.
You will be responsible for the management, monitoring and oversight of several key compliance areas (e.g. Anti-bribery & Corruption, Modern Slavery, Financial Crime and Tax) as well as conducting assurance activities over these areas. This will involve working closely with the business where you will act as an advisor where inefficiencies are found to help guide them through remediation. You will conduct horizon scanning to advise the business on upcoming changes to the legislative landscape and enable the business to effectively implement compliance policies & programmes. You will also be required to produce monthly reports for the Board.
You must have strong Legal Compliance experience in a professional services or in-house environment - candidates from Financial Services will not be considered for this role. Holding a relevant qualification (e.g. ICA) or having a Law background is advantageous but not essential. You must have excellent stakeholder engagement and reporting writing skills.
