Compliance Manager
Location: Bournemouth - Hybrid working
Salary: Up to £70k

They are looking for a proactive and experienced Compliance Manager to join their well-established function. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, shaping policies and procedures, and driving best practices across the firm.

The Role:

• Lead, coach, and mentor the Compliance Team to ensure high standards of regulatory compliance.
• Provide expert guidance on complex compliance matters to help the business navigate legal requirements confidently.
• Maintain policies, key documents, and risk registers in line with the latest regulations.
• Take ownership of Lexcel and CQS accreditations, ensuring smooth applications and renewals.
• Collaborate with the Head of Risk & Operations to drive compliance-led improvements across the organization.
• Monitor regulatory changes and implement necessary updates and training.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement by driving initiatives to enhance processes and compliance frameworks.
• Deliver effective compliance training to ensure staff remain informed and confident in their roles.

About You

• Proven experience in compliance management within a legal environment (qualified solicitor experience also considered).
• Strong leadership skills with experience mentoring and developing teams.
• Up-to-date knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as AML, GDPR, and risk management.
• Experience with Lexcel and CQS accreditations (highly desirable).
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• A detail-oriented and analytical approach to problem-solving.
