A leading company in alternative asset management seeks an Associate for its EMEA Distribution Compliance team in London. This role involves ensuring regulatory compliance in marketing materials and provides a chance to work closely with various business units globally. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in compliance, strong analytical skills, and a good understanding of European regulations.

This position will be a key member of the Legal and Compliance team playing an important role in continuing to build and develop the function to genuine “Best-in-Class” standards.
The Associate will be part of the EMEA Distribution Compliance team, which serves as the primary day-to-day counsel to the Institutional Client Solutions (ICS) and Private Wealth teams across all business units within Blackstone with respect to distributing products and marketing materials (and other communications and documents) to investors.
In this capacity, the Associate will assist with legal and compliance matters that arise in connection with investor classification, domestic and global marketing registration, marketing material compliance review, and investor communications for Blackstone’s European Private Wealth business.
The Associate will also work closely with others on Blackstone’s global Legal and Compliance (L&C) team, including the Chief Compliance Officers of the business units and marketing review teams in the APAC and US regions.
