Job description

Legal Clerk needed in Bedford, £12.21ph

PAYE – Reference: 5268082

  1. Role Responsibilities:
    1. Act as the first point of contact for the Legal Services Teams, handling telephone messages, prioritising emails, and making diary appointments. Communicate effectively and promptly to support team operations.
    2. Liaise with relevant contacts to arrange hearings, court dates, and meetings, ensuring timely distribution of papers.
    3. Provide administrative support to ensure high standards of communication, working with the Legal Services case management system to produce reports, letters, and legal documents. Accuracy and prioritisation are essential.
    4. Support legal services with tasks such as scanning, letter writing, report completion, court bundling, and collation of hearing papers.
    5. Utilise and develop templates within the IKEN case management system effectively.
    6. Collaborate with team members to develop competence and share best practices in legal support.

This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis.
