Legal Cashier | Office-Based | Established Firm | Career Progression

A long-established high street law firm with offices across Somerset is looking to recruit a Legal Cashier to join its growing finance team. This is a permanent, office-based role working alongside an experienced Accounts Manager and another cashier, offering a salary in the region of £30,000depending on experience.

Ideal opportunity for a Legal Cashier experience in a law firm environment,looking to take on a varied, hands-on position in a supportive, close-knit team. The role will involve daily management of both office and client account transactions, ensuring strict compliance with the SRA Accounts Rules, handling bank reconciliations, processing payments and receipts, maintaining ledgers, producing monthly reports, submitting VAT returns, and contributing to the month-end and year-end financial processes.

You’ll also liaise regularly with fee earners, external parties, and regulatory bodies, ensuring financial records are accurate and up to date.
