Location: Denbigh
Hours: Full time, Monday-Friday, office based

Find Your Footsteps Recruitment have teamed up with one of North Wales leading legal firms with the support in their recruitment for a legal cashier for their office situated in Denbigh.

Please note, legal experience is not needed and applications that contain a financial background from other industries, will be considered.

The Role
  • Processing all accounting transactions in accordance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules, Anti-Money Laundering Regs and firm’s Financial Procedures Policy.
  • Monitoring receipt of funds to client and office accounts.
  • Daily bank reconciliations for client and office accounts.
  • Completing month and year end processes.
  • Preparing Vat reports.
  • Checking that all payment and receipt requests are properly authorized and verified in accordance with financial procedures.
  • Setting up of banking payments for authorization.
  • Responding to legal cashiering accounts queries.
  • Review and processing of client invoices and WIP.
  • Managing and processing the accounts payable ledger.
  • Supporting queries relating to the annual audit requirements pursuant to SARs.

Not all boxes have to be ticked as long as you have worked in a financially based role, as training will be given to any areas of the role that you would need support with.
