About the role

We're looking for an experienced Legal Cashier to join our team in Cwmbran. In this role, you'll play a vital part in managing our financial processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with the Solicitor's Accounts Rules. You'll work closely with other departments to maintain the smooth running of our office and client finances.

Key responsibilities

  • Maintain and update office and client ledgers

  • Reconcile bank statements and promptly resolve discrepancies

  • Process financial transactions, including payments in and out, bank transfers, and cheques

  • Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports

  • Generate client invoices and follow up on overdue payments

  • Handle purchase ledger invoices

  • Check completion packs to ensure all financial aspects are in order

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial information is accurate and up to date

Requirements
