Legal Cashier, Brighton

A vacancy has arisen for a Legal Cashier to join the finance team in our friendly and diverse centrally-located office in Brighton.

You will have previous experience in legal accounts and be an effective team player, with strong interpersonal and communication skills and a self-motivated and organised approach to your work.

Responsibilities

• Managing client accounts and ensuring compliance with SRA rules; Monitoring and advertising daily client funds, from the banking system for all electronic payments (CHAPS, BACs and FPS); Processing payments, receipts & transfers, manual cheques and/or cash banking; Posting expenses - fees, travel etc.; ‘Infotrack’ & Land Registry invoices; Filing & other daily administrative duties.

Qualifications

You will have up to date knowledge of the Solicitors Accounts Rules. Experience of ‘Indigo’ is preferred, but is not essential.

Client offering hybrid working (on completion of a three month probationary period) and salary at market rate.
