Britannia Personnel Group is working in partnership with a reputable law firm in Stockport to recruit an experienced Legal Cashier. This is a full-time, on-site position, ideal for someone with strong financial transaction experience and a keen eye for detail.
Legal Cashier Key Responsibilities:Manage daily financial transactions and maintain accurate records
Process payments and client invoices in a timely manner
Perform daily banking duties and account reconciliations
Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and regulatory requirements
Support the finance team in maintaining ledgers and producing reports
Liaise with fee earners and administrative staff to support financial operations
Previous experience in a cashier or finance-related role
Proficiency in processing payments, handling invoices, and reconciling accounts
Understanding of financial compliance and regulatory frameworks
Excellent accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting
Strong organisational and multitasking skills
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
Familiarity with financial software and Microsoft Office (Excel in particular)
Experience in a legal or professional services environment is advantageous
