Cooper Parry Finance Recruitment is seeking an experienced Legal Cashier to join a leading international professional services firm in Glasgow. You will manage client and office account transactions, ensuring compliance with Solicitors' Accounts Rules and accurate cash handling in a busy, regulated environment.

The role is hybrid (2 days in the Glasgow office, 3 days from home) with exposure to Elite 3E and other legal finance systems.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Legal Cashier within a law firm is essential.
• Strong understanding of Solicitors' Accounts Rules and client money handling.
• Experience using legal finance systems such as Elite 3E or similar.

Responsabilités

• Processing domestic and international payments from client and office accounts.
• Managing client and office account transactions in line with Solicitors' Accounts Rules and internal policies.
• Completing daily and monthly client account reconciliations.
• Posting ledger entries and allocating incoming receipts accurately.
• Monitoring and processing transfers between client and office accounts.
• Investigating and resolving account queries and discrepancies.
• Supporting internal and external audits by providing documentation and information as required.
• Monitoring client ledger balances to ensure compliance and prevent residual balances.
• Providing a professional and efficient service to internal stakeholders and external contacts.

Our client, a leading international professional services firm, is seeking an experienced Legal Cashier to join their established finance team in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented finance professional to play a key role within a highly regulated environment, ensuring the accurate management of client funds and compliance with Solicitors' Accounts Rules.

The Role

Working as part of a busy finance function, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of client and office account transactions, supporting financial controls and maintaining the highest standards of compliance and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing domestic and international payments from client and office accounts.
