We’re looking for an experienced Legal Cashier to support the day-to-day management of our client bank account, ensuring compliance with the Solicitors Accounting Rules (SAR).

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills and gain experience across all areas of a busy accounts department within a well-established law firm.

What You’ll Do:

• Process outgoing payments, including BACS, CHAPS, Faster Payments and cheques
• Prepare and authorise electronic bank transfers for both offices
• Maintain accurate transaction records and ensure compliance with legal accounting standards.
• Manage shared inboxes and respond promptly to payment queries
• Assist with financial reporting and ensure compliance with SAR and anti-money laundering (AML) regulations

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a Legal Cashier role
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Confident working independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
• Working knowledge of SRA and AML rules
