A Commercial Law firm in the Legal 500 is seeking a Legal Cashier, paying up to £28,350 plus an extensive benefit package, to join their growing Birmingham Team.
The Legal Cashier will support the wider Accounting team with the cashier duties including supplier invoice processing and office and client account receipts and payment processing.
This will predominantly be a remote working role after a period of initial training in the office. There will be times you will need to be in the office for team meetings and socials, but prior warming will be given - so a commutable distance to the Birmingham office will be essential.
Duties will include the following:
The ideal candidate will come from a legal accounting background and will have 6months to a years experience working in a legal cashier function. Other background may be considered, but cashier experience involving client accounts and billable hours will be needed. You will be analytical, with a high attention to detail and a great understanding of legal billing. Excellent communication skills, you will be the go to person in the team for updates and reporting on your accounts.
