Are you an experienced Legal Cashier looking for your next challenge in a supportive and forward-thinking law firm?

We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic finance team at our busy Taunton office. This is a key role where you'll ensure our client and office accounts are managed accurately and in line with Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) Accounts Rules.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Processing incoming and outgoing payments, including bank transfers and reconciliations
• Managing office and client ledgers
• Issuing invoices and chasing overdue payments
• Ensuring accuracy in bookkeeping and compliance with SRA Accounts Rules
• Producing daily, monthly, and annual financial reports
• Handling VAT submissions via HMRC online portal
• Liaising with fee earners, support staff, auditors, clients, and regulatory bodies
• Assisting with other finance and administrative tasks as required

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience as a Legal Cashier (essential)
• In-depth knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules
• Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
