NHS Supply Chain has an exciting opportunity for a Legal Business Manager to join during a transformative period, aiming to simplify processes for the NHS and prioritize patient care.
We seek Legal Business Managers with procurement law experience to help develop our long-term procurement strategies.
The ideal candidates will possess knowledge of procurement law to advise on procurement processes, ensuring NHS Supply Chain remains a leading procurement organization, especially in relation to the Procurement Act and Provider Selection Regime.
- Support the design and implementation of a commercial compliance framework aligned with legal standards and best practices.
- Ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations, providing standards on processes and controls based on the SCCL Board’s risk appetite.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on Public Contract Regulations, monitor industry developments, and uphold high standards within the category team.
- Assist in implementing new standard procurement documents.
- Develop effective, legally compliant category and sourcing strategies.
- Represent the legal team at Category Decision Forum meetings, ensuring legal risks are considered in decisions.
