We are looking for a talented and dedicated lawyer, either at the Solicitor or Associate level, to join our in-house team. The role involves reviewing and managing contractual arrangements for our global projects. This is a unique opportunity for a lawyer to develop or advance a career in an in-house setting within a creative, dynamic, and evolving business environment.

The successful candidate will work with the global business to review contracts, provide legal advice, and undertake contractual negotiations. Additionally, you will support the implementation of our legal risk management policies and may report to regional management boards as appropriate.

You will also handle other contractual matters such as evaluating requests for assignments, collateral warranties, third-party rights, novation agreements, and letters of reliance. The role may also include claims administration, debt recovery, and miscellaneous legal advisory tasks.

The Skills

We seek a qualified solicitor with approximately 4 years of PQE and relevant practical experience. However, applications from candidates with suitable experience are encouraged. You should have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Experience in construction law, advising on professional engineering consultancy appointments (both bespoke and standard forms), GDPR, IPR, commercial contracts, litigation, professional indemnity insurance, and building contracts is highly desirable.
