Legal Assistant - Secured Lending
Location: Cardiff
Contract Type: Full-time or Part-time
Salary: £23,000
TSR Legal is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established law firm in Cardiff seeking a Legal Assistant to join their busy Secured Lending Department. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong administrative background and an interest in property law to join a supportive and dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Handling registrations of charges and managing post-completion matters, including Land Registry applications and responding to requisitions from HM Land Registry.
  • Conducting final checks and Land Registry searches in preparation for file completion.
  • Maintaining and organising physical and electronic filing systems.
  • Closing completed files and coordinating appropriate storage procedures.
  • Providing administrative support to other team members and assisting with overflow work when required.

Additional Skills & Requirements:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with legal case management systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
  • A proactive team player with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
