The Lexcel-accredited Legal Team provides legal advice, assistance, and support to Council officers, elected members, and external clients at all levels. We have a range of roles available, tailored to your knowledge and experience, depending on your career stage. The roles and salaries are summarized below, and appointments will reflect your experience. If you join at a lower grade, we are committed to supporting your professional development.
Legal Assistant: Safeguarding - Scale 6 £30,559 to £32,654
Assistant Children's & Adults Lawyer - SO2 £36,124 to £37,938
Solicitor: Safeguarding - PO10 £45,718 to £48,710
