Are you looking to build your legal career in a fast-paced and supportive environment? Were looking for a Legal Assistant to join our busy and friendly Residential Property team in Bournemouth , where youll play a key role in supporting lawyers throughout the lifecycle of property transactions.

In this vital role, youll be hands-on with a wide range of tasks from preparing contract packs and carrying out searches, to liaising directly with clients, estate agents and third parties to keep transactions on track. Youll also take responsibility for onboarding new clients, maintaining accurate records, and assisting with daily administrative duties such as post sorting and file management. Your organisation, attention to detail, and proactive approach will make a real difference to the efficiency and success of our team.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Assisting lawyers with the day-to-day management of residential property transactions including sales, purchases, and re-mortgages.
  • Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders and other third parties to gather and share relevant information.
  • Preparing and issuing contract packs, ordering property searches, and ensuring key milestones are met.
  • Opening new files and guiding clients through the onboarding process.
  • Maintaining accurate file records and case management system entries.
  • Sorting and distributing incoming and outgoing post and providing general administrative support to the team.
