Job description

Job Purpose:

We have an opportunity for a Legal Assistant to join the Private Client Department in the Chelmsford office. As a key member of the team, you will be required to assist with supporting all of the team to include general administrative tasks in relation to individual file management and taking calls for new enquiries for the Department.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within a team with a reputation for providing excellent client care. The role is office based within our modern, first-class office.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Logging Wills away in accordance with the Firm’s procedures
• General filing – paper and electronic
• Supporting the team with general administrative duties
• Answering the telephone, booking client appointments and obtaining copies of relevant documents required for new meetings
• Organising documentation in readiness for meetings
• Undertaking specific training when required to do so and overall to have a responsibility towards self-development.
• Maintaining a high level of professionalism and ensuring client matters and information are kept confidential
