A local council in Dudley is seeking a qualified Legal Assistant/Executive to support its Conveyancing team. The Legal Services department is accredited with Lexcel, the Law Society's standard for excellence in legal practice management and client care.

Position: Temporary – 12-month contract (maternity cover)

Hours: Full time 37 hours

Salary: Grade 7, £31,537 - £34,434

Location: Working from home / The Council House, Priory Road, Dudley

We are seeking a Legal Assistant/Executive to support the busy Conveyancing team.

The role involves managing right-to-buy files, handling title queries and investigations, preparing title reports, managing auction and other sales, and providing support to Solicitors on various conveyancing matters.

The candidate should be able to work independently, use initiative, and manage multiple cases under pressure by prioritising effectively.
