Legal Assistant - Estate Administration | Orpington | Leading Regional Law Firm
TSR Legal, a specialist legal recruitment consultancy, is delighted to be supporting a prominent and well-respected firm in Orpington in their search for an experienced Legal Assistant to join their growing Estate Administration team.

The Opportunity
Working within the firm's dedicated Estate Administration department, you will support fee earners in delivering a high-quality service to clients in the areas of probate and trust administration. The firm is known for its open and approachable culture, with a strong emphasis on internal collaboration across departments.
Key Responsibilities

  1. Act as the first point of contact for new client enquiries, scheduling meetings and handling compliance processes
  2. Provide administrative and secretarial support to fee earners managing a high-volume caseload
  3. Liaise with clients and third parties, offering regular updates and ensuring clear communication
  4. Draft legal documents and prepare routine correspondence
  5. Maintain accurate records and update the case management system
  6. Assist with file opening and closing procedures

About You

  1. Extensive secretarial or legal assistant experience, ideally within estate administration, probate, or private client work
  2. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  3. Confident in liaising with clients and professionals, both verbally and in writing
  4. Positive, professional attitude with a strong team ethic
  5. Proficient in using case management systems and standard Microsoft Office tools
