Join Trowers and Hamlins as a Legal Assistant. We are seeking a dedicated individual to provide essential administrative help to our Corporate team in the London office. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for providing exceptional support, this role could be the perfect opportunity for you.

The Role

The Legal Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the legal team.

  • Manage filing and file management, including opening and closing files
  • Maintain electronic filing and document management systems
  • Support fee earners with billing, credit control, and time recording
  • Handle documentation for client account payments and compliance with Solicitors Accounts Rules
  • Compile and manage PDF documents, data-rooms, and electronic storage
  • Conduct legal research and manage document scheduling
  • Provide administrative support, including scanning, photocopying, and printing

The Candidate

  • The ideal candidate for the Legal Assistant, Corporate role should possess the following:
  • Exceptional client service skills
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Strong confidentiality and discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Previous administrative experience is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Positive, proactive, and flexible attitude
