Job Description

We are seeking a Legal Assistant with conveyancing experience to join a well-established law firm in Northampton. This permanent role offers an opportunity to advance your career within a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Providing excellent client care, answering calls, handling inquiries, and managing messages.
  2. Managing the conveyancing process from file opening to completion, including searches, exchange of contracts, and completion procedures.
  3. Calculating and verifying stamp duty returns.
  4. Preparing documents and supporting conveyancers with administrative tasks, including audio typing and system updates.
Skills and Experience:
  1. Knowledge of conveyancing procedures.
  2. Previous administrative or customer service experience, preferably in an office setting.
  3. Strong team player with good communication and client care skills.
  4. High attention to detail and accuracy.
  5. Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
  6. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
