We're currently on the lookout for a dynamic, detail-driven Legal Assistant to join our client's Commercial Property, Land & Development teams.
This is not a fee-earning role, but it is a key one - you'll be helping to keep the wheels of our client's legal machine turning smoothly by freeing up time for the Partner to tackle the complex stuff, while you make sure everything else is running like clockwork.
What You'll Be Doing
You'll be an indispensable member of the team, supporting with tasks such as:
High-quality admin support directly to a Partner
Drafting legal documents (with guidance)
Preparing files for billing and completion
Liaising with clients and keeping them in the loop
Handling digital dictation and correspondence
Managing calls, emails, and messages like a pro
Offering a warm, empathetic client experience - especially when things get tough
Ensuring compliance with LEXCEL, the Law Society, and Solicitors Accounts Rules
Essential
What We're Looking For:
Experience in legal work, ideally at paralegal level (even if the role isn't fee-earning)
Calm, focused, and polite under pressure
Fantastic communicator - both written and verbal
Strong attention to detail and organisation
Confident with Microsoft Office and digital systems
A team player who loves variety and can work at pace
Professional, proactive, and friendly
Desirable
Background in property legal work, especially residential conveyancing or land & development
Experience in a busy legal environment
No specific qualifications are required - just proven legal support experience and the right mindset.
