Job description

Jackson Hogg are delighted to be supporting a global manufacturing based in Teesside with the appointment of Legal Assistant on a 12 month FTC. You will be supporting the legal and compliance team with administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Generating legal matter numbers and tickets, producing engagement letters.
  • Executing documents including identifying signatories, sending hard copy documents to signatories for execution, and emailing them to chase for signature.
  • Obtaining authorisation for invoices, obtaining further information, purchase order requisitions, recording, coding, submitting for payment, and checking late payments.
  • Arranging notes and translations for board meetings.
  • Scanning corporate documents.
  • Assisting lawyers with sending audit responses to litigation where requested.
  • Travel arrangements and bookings, processing of monthly expense reports.
  • Global system administration of the legal contract management system.

You must have a good understanding of corporate functions, excellent administrative skills, and previous experience within a legal department or firm.
