Our client has opened a new department and needs a Legal Assistant to support their services in the St Albans area.
You will come from a legal background offering compliance support opening/closing accounts for the property and private clients teams. Key responsibilities include Obtaining and reviewing client identification and where appropriate explaining the ID process to clients, Inputting client data onto practice management system and if applicable the probate or residential conveyancing case management system. Producing client care letters and sending out Terms of Service. Completing anti money laundering searches and UK sanctions regime checks. Handling enquiries and more.
They expect attention to detail, being able to work to tight timescales, possess excellent interpersonal skill, a legal background especially if you have worked in the compliance area.
