This role offers a competitive salary, ranging from £30,000 to £35,000, depending on your experience. Legal Secretary with Audio Typing Skills

Location: Central London - Mayfair

This role will be 5 days a week in the office!

What you'll do:

As a Legal Secretary in this role, your primary focus will be on audio typing. You will be responsible for accurately transcribing legal documents, correspondence, and reports. Your organisational skills will be put to good use as you manage diaries, schedule appointments, coordinate meetings and handle client enquiries professionally. You will also maintain case files while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal regulations. Your role will also involve liaising with clients, courts, external agencies as well as assisting with billing and other administrative duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Audio typing and dictation of legal documents, correspondence, and reports with accuracy and efficiency
  • Preparing and formatting legal documents, contracts, and court bundles
  • Managing diaries, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meetings
  • Handling client enquiries professionally via phone, email, and in-person
  • Maintaining and updating case files, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal regulations
  • Liaising with clients, courts, and external agencies
  • Assisting with billing, expense processing, and other administrative duties
