Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced full time Legal Assistant to join their busy Residential Conveyancing team. You will work closely with their experienced Solicitors and Licensed Conveyancers, providing support across a broad range of conveyancing matters.

Responsibilities
  • Providing day-to-day support to fee earners across residential conveyancing transactions
  • Managing a wide range of administrative duties, including handling client calls and providing updates to clients, estate agents, lenders, and solicitors
  • Opening and maintaining compliant case files
  • Drafting contract packs and supporting pre- and post-exchange administration
  • Preparing COTs, carrying out final searches, and lodging SDLT and AP1 forms
  • Handling Land Registry requisitions
  • Audio and copy typing, dictation, and diary management
The Candidate

  • Good working knowledge of residential conveyancing processes and procedures
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage time effectively
