Our client is seeking to recruit a Legal Assistant to provide high-quality support within a busy practice.

Hours of work: Full-time, 37 hours per week

Department: Private Client

Location: This role can be based at either Petts Wood or Bexleyheath

Experience: Experience within a Legal Department is essential; experience in Private Practice is desirable.

Main Tasks/Accountabilities
  • Make & receive telephone calls, including arranging appointments, contacting third parties, taking payments, and providing updates in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner.
  • Open, close, and archive electronic files.
  • Generate and send out invoices.
  • Prepare letters and documents accurately and carefully with supervision.
  • Record time spent on a matter using the electronic case management system.
  • Diaries key dates through the electronic case management system.
  • Ensure electronic files are well organized.
  • Undertake administrative tasks such as scanning and photocopying.
  • Answer external incoming calls as part of the telephone rota.
  • Comply with all office procedure requirements.
  • Any Other Duties As Required.
