YOUR IMPACT

Goldman Sachs Asset Management ("GSAM") is looking for an experienced funds lawyer with asset management experience to join a small team of lawyer's, within the wider EMEA Asset Management Legal team, with responsibility for a range of work including establishing, maintaining and distributing investment funds, including UCITS, AIFs and money market funds.

The team's primary responsibilities will include legal work related to fund formation and management as well as regulatory projects and related matters. The team provides ongoing support with respect to other advisory and asset management matters as well.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Good team player, dynamic and capable of working proactively, leading and driving initiative on a wide range of issues in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • UK, US or EU (or similar) qualified
  • Have at least 3 years post qualification experience; previous in-house experience (including on secondment) would be helpful
  • Ideally, the candidate will have familiarity with regulation applicable to international cross border investment management and funds businesses, including UCITS, AIFMD, MIFID as well as sustainable finance regulation.
