Job summary

Totum Partners is seeking a Legal AI Solutions Engineer to design, develop, and support secure AI-enabled apps and integrations for the firm. The role covers production-ready LLM solutions, retrieval systems, agents, APIs and automated workflows to address defined business needs.

The successful candidate will translate business priorities into reliable software, taking technical ownership from discovery through deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement, with hybrid work (2 days WFH

Qualifications

• This role requires a strong background in AI Engineering, ideally within a law firm.
• Strong understanding of cloud environments and Azure integration.
• Hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI, Copilot, Copilot Studio, MS Graph, Semantic Kernel and LangChain/LangGraph.

The Legal AI Solutions Engineer designs, develops, evaluates and supports secure AI-enabled applications and integrations across the firm.

• This hands-on role delivers production-ready software, including large language model applications, retrieval systems, agents, APIs and automated workflows, that addresses defined business needs.
• The role translates business priorities into reliable, compliant software and takes technical ownership from discovery and design through development, deployment, monitoring and continuous improvement.
• Key responsibilities lie within; AI & LLM App Engineering, AI Quality Assurance, Low-Code solutions, Copilot Championing, Data & Integration Engineering, AI Governance, Technical Delivery and Technology Enablement.

Skills Required

• A strong background in AI Engineering, ideally within a law firm environment.
• Strong understanding of cloud environments and integrating solutions within Azure.
