The Opportunity

We are looking for a Legal AI Engineer to play a key role in shaping the future of legal technology. This is a unique opportunity to combine legal expertise with cutting-edge AI research to develop solutions that transform how legal teams work. You'll work closely with AI researchers, engineers, and our product team, applying the latest AI advancements to legal workflows while collaborating with customers to solve real challenges.

What You’ll Do

• Be the legal AI liaison – Be the subject matter expert to internal teams as well as our clients on generative AI.
• Engage with customers – Identify pain points in legal workflows and translate them into AI-driven solutions alongside our Engineering, Product, and AI teams.
• Work hands-on with AI models – Test the latest AI models, prompt engineer, fine-tune LLMs, and build proprietary datasets in collaboration with the AI team.
• Apply Gen AI to legal use cases – Stay ahead of AI developments and work with our teams to integrate them into Leah.
• Understand the full customer journey – Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure AI solutions align with real-world legal needs and user experiences.

What You Bring

• A qualified lawyer with a strong understanding of legal AI technologies.
• A problem-solver who enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders across different teams.
• A deep interest in AI and how it can be applied to the legal industry.
• Experience in prompt engineering and working with AI models.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is a bonus.
• Multi-lingual skills are a plus.
