Carpenters Group seeks a Complex Recoveries Legal Advisor to manage a full caseload of high-value litigated RTA recovery cases, delivering quality claims handling and maximising recoveries within agreed timescales.

You will provide professional legal advice, communicate regularly with clients, and aim for commercial settlement while safeguarding the firm’s integrity. The role supports a growing team across the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a full caseload of litigated RTA recovery or ULR claims.
• Working knowledge of liability issues, including the Road Traffic Act and Article 75.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Demonstrable background in customer or stakeholder-focused environments with a focus on delivering quality service to clients and the wider firm.
• Competence using case management systems and MS Office.
• High attention to detail, organisation, and commitment to quality service.

Job Purpose

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Complex Recoveries Legal Advisor to join the team. The role involves managing a full caseload of high‑volume, high‑value (over £10,000) litigated RTA recovery cases, delivering high‑quality claims handling and maximising recoveries within agreed timescales to support the overall success of the business.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of high‑value litigated recovery files using the firm’s case management system
• Ensure accurate and timely updates on the case management system
• Progress cases efficiently using appropriate communication methods
• Provide professional, timely legal advice to clients with regular communication and expectation management
• Take a commercial and practical approach to settlement negotiations and risk advice
