Are you an organised and passionate administrator looking to make a meaningful impact in local communities? Spirehouse Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a leading charitable housing trust in Birmingham in their search for an Estates and Stewardship Administrative Officer to join their vibrant and committed Communities team.


About the Role:


You'll be supporting the Estates and Stewardship team in the delivery of a resident-focused service. From managing records and processing invoices to coordinating meetings and helping track service performance, this is a varied and engaging role where no two days are the same.


This position would suit someone who thrives in a collaborative, purpose-led environment and enjoys working across departments to ensure excellent service delivery.


What You'll Be Doing:


  1. Providing high-quality administrative support to the Estates and Stewardship team.
  2. Supporting resident engagement and facilitating community-led stewardship.
  3. Coordinating meetings, taking accurate minutes, and producing agendas and reports.
  4. Managing legal documents, public trustee requests, and invoice processing.
  5. Supporting performance reporting through data collection and collation.
  6. Maintaining accurate records in line with GDPR standards.
  7. Collaborating with stakeholders across the organisation to improve service delivery.

What We're Looking For:


Essential:

  1. Strong administrative experience, ideally in a customer-focused or housing environment.
  2. Excellent planning, organisational, and communication skills.
  3. Ability to manage sensitive information and prioritise a busy workload.
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office and confident handling digital records.

Desirable:

  1. Experience in leasehold management, stewardship, or housing associations.
  2. Familiarity with QL systems and GIS mapping.
  3. Experience with customer involvement or resident engagement initiatives.
  4. Working knowledge of social media for resident communication.
